A two-year-old study came up with a county-wide immune level. Against polio 41 percent in the rural areas it was down to 31 percent. Now 70 percent immunity is supposed to be a safe acceptable standard and we're not anywhere near that. For first graders in Lane County Schools study which was just completed last month the information is not much more In many of the school districts, we conducted catch-up immunization clinics, and those are reflected in two sets of figures, two percentages, in Mapleton, and in Crow, in Lowell, in Marcolin, and McKenzie school districts. And the type of complaint. Varies. Some of them are worried about fraud and deception and others are just bothered by what kind of outfit is this coming to my door. Eugene has a licensing ordinance, Springfield has a Green River ordinance similar to the one we're proposing and then the county doesn't have either a licensing or a Green River ordinance. And as you can see here in this graph. We have transportation accounting for 65.6% with fuel combustion being next at 17.3%. Now, the problem of air pollution being caused by automobiles can grow in this area. We have a basic problem with the valley itself in its topography and in the fact that we have restricted ventilation. That is that the pollutants that are emitted in the valley. Cannot be flushed from the valley by clean air. When we have this situation, much like the Los Angeles area. Grow into a pollution problem that's much worse than Los Angeles, and there has been several studies made.
