Construction is now underway at the beam facility on a 6.3 million dollar expansion. At present, the plant makes glued beams for the housing, specialty, and commercial construction markets. Lumber goes in one end of the mill, and following a muscle-intensive and time-consuming four-step process, becomes beams up to 155 feet long.
