But Pete Laughlin, Bill Hoffman, Tim Byer, Steve Greatwood, Jeff Wood, Vince Williams, they all blocked well and opened up the holes and I just hit the holes. Look at the ball, look at the ball. Accelerate, decouple! Put it away, put it away! You need to brake brake, put away, accelerate! You The funding is through stockholders' funds. None of it comes from the rate payer. And if Mr. Eiman wants to see the PUC about it, or he wants to the Board of Elections about it he'll have that opportunity to do so. This is a tremendous campaign effort. Why are you doing this? Because Pacific Power and Light Company believes, number one, it's not in the customer's best interest to vote in the MOPD here, and number two, it not in the stockholder's best interests. And we feel that we've been doing business here for 60 years, and we want to remain doing business. Ironically, the main power lines for Pacific Power and Light run right by the roadway end, and now the end has become a base for PPNL's political power. It's evident that PPNN knows it's got a tough political fight on its hands, and it's willing to spend big money here at the end to make sure the outcome of that fight turns in its favor. As one PPNl spokesman said, we've got a business at stake in this campaign, and we feel obligated to do all that we can to save it. Don Clark, Eyewitness News at the Roadway Inn. It's obvious that Pacific Power and Light has provided a beachhead here at the roadway for these 20 mercenaries that are coming in from outside of Lane County from as far away as Montana to spend a quarter of a million dollars to try and defeat the effort to provide our own electric service in their present service area. You see anything unethical about that? Nothing unethically. They've got the bucks other than my real concern is that it's going to cost this Right here Just the lodging and the meals is costing $17 for every customer that PPL has right now in the service area. Well, they say this is out of a special fund, not out of ratepayers' funds. Well, I've got to see the figures in the books and have the elections department and the PUC commissioner review that before I'll believe that the ratepayer isn't paying for it. All right, good. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Thank you for playing with all the lamb. Thank you so much. Thanks for driving up that way for the place. We will consider later on mailing a copy to the FPP. We feel if we can show that the best interests of the listening public are not being served, something will change. If petitions don't do any good, we are considering an economic boycott of advertisers who advertise on the stations. Do we have an organized death ring going on in this county? I'd definitely say yes. Dogs are very easily transferred from one owner to another owner. They're hot items, they're easy to get rid of. Yes, I would say so. The first reason is that you've been killing people for a long time in the woods, and this has been recognized by both labor and management and the industry as a whole. That really, I would say, triggered a renewed interest in training in the woods. And then by hook or by crook, and you can achieve it by a meter. We just think 15 years is too long, and we want to refer that language to the people for a chance to vote it up or down. We also want to provide for a five-year franchise, competitive bidding, and also some money for community TV production. It appeals to self-discipline for studies, self-discipline for work, self pride, overcoming obstacles, overcoming limitations, psychological limitations, physical limitations. And that's what PE is all about. Thank you. The bottom line cost of wholesale price increases usually shows up at retail within 60 days. Right here at the supermarket is where all supply and demand go at one another and determine the cost of any breadwinner's market basket. Unfortunately, in the coming month, as the holiday season rolls around, homemakers may have to choose between a case of instant indigestion at the checkout counter or a wallet ache at the dinner table. Tom Cassidy, Eyewitness News in Eugene. I actually am convinced that my dog has been stolen now. Why? Because he's never left home for a period longer than 30 minutes at a time. And he is familiar with this area. You know of other dogs that have been stolen? Yes, I have. And I do know of others dogs that have been stealing, Malamute breed also. I'm trying to find my dog. Boarding dogs, hunting dogs, setters, retrievers, labs, pointers, there are hot dogs around this area. Are dog theft laws enforced in this county? Definitely not. It's probably misdemeanor to steal a dog and I imagine that the judicial system as it is, it takes so much time to get it into court and out of court, they're probably not enforced at all. Well, here's one smart bird who certainly refuses to fly the coop, so if any of you out there are his lost owners, you can find him here above the gas pumps at the mobile station. Debbie Segura, Eyewitness News, in Eugene. There you go, Dupree. Alright, take it in! Alright, Al! Good job, bro! Alright. Alright, clear it up. And then we put our final rest of it in. That's one of them. So we're just never going to get it. Well, it started with an election between what we began to say, and it was one of them. And we all know it's very difficult. What was that? Playback. The first three shows we gave were done at the Heilig Theater, where you could only rehearse it after 11 o'clock at night when the shows were over. We lost our shirt. Then we went during the Depression, and that's when I joined the group, to a small drug store on 13th Street between Patterson and Ferry. After that, we went to the barn out at the fairgrounds, and this building has been playing here and adding on to it ever since. A lot of the people that are complaining about problems with the environment, problems, and maybe they'll understand a little more. I think it's a little unfair to be somebody without first-hand information or taking a trip or whatever, you know. Our up front five guys or six guys, whatever you want to say, are playing the country. And I think when you're strong on defense, it allows you to work some things out offensively and if you make a mistake or two on offense, it's not going to kill you because you know you can jump out on the field. It's a great position to be in and I know the teams that won when they were good on defense and I think we will be good on the defense. Because you've got the... We had seven members at the end of the year. At the time, we decided that there was no one there that would do anything. And then as it grew, I suggested one time that perhaps we could change the name to and you're ready to learn a lot from it. And I'm ready to tell you that. You know what I like most? Right It certainly is a matter, first of all, to make it in this country of high priority and we're willing to do those risky things to make those institutions more resilient for the many, very efficient, and make people work their way out of hunger. I think it's reality. I think he wasn't an artist, but he had a feeling about what seems to be a path, and they're trying to get down to the canvas on their drawing board, and the sculptors, things that they have seen, or things that they have remembered, that they know how the West was built. This is about a hundred and fifty different professional Western painters who will be in gallery, motel room gallery, plus we have ten lobby areas, you've seen here this morning, and then a massive auction room with about 250 people, something like that. We're going to be out of them. Mini auction runs through Sunday afternoon, main auction Saturday night, 7 o'clock, mini auction, mini auction Sunday afternoon. Top Cassidy Eyewitness News, Springfield. The one thing that we will need to find programs. One thing that's intended for every student. Need to change the law to give the people a choice to give them a chance to avail themselves of the low-cost hydro power. It's very important, it's one of the most important measures that's on the ballot and the people certainly should take a hard look at it. I'd say there needs to be more bike paths all over, you know, like most of the major big streets are just too narrow to have no room for bicycle parking at all. I just encourage them to continue what they're doing and I think the bicycle bridges, too, are a really good idea. Bikes don't have to compete with the cars on the bridges, stuff like that. Now we see what kind of team we really are, what kind of pride we have. And we're going home with our home fans, and we can win with a little respect. I hope we can put together their passing team so they'll really test us again. There's one over there. And this goes on and on, and on and through and through. Recall is a political, I don't think of it as a political action. It's one thing or another. And it's comparable to the election and the referendum. The recall campaign and the 35th campaign, all emphasize the law. Thank you for your attention, and may Jim have the word. Now, let's assure that once again... That's coming up in the final part. So do we have to drop in yet? My math is good. But the trouble was, it's a lot. That's the oldest rule on this. Your railroad is causing us to go to a lot of trouble. That's no good. We're going to transfer you to a local taxi service. But you're going sooner. Locals may have to stop to get that. It's a lot easier to do that. Yeah, I was, I wasn't looking at things at all. I've had to miss these talks and come back. Rather than to cover the fact that we don't. Recall is a political exercise of the power of people as voters. It is not a legal action against an elected official. A legal action for a crime or an alleged crime is something that is quite separate and distinct. And anytime there is or lost a part of it, it can have an impact. As a citizen, and not as a parent, you can tell what time you wake up. Do you think there's any possibility of you switching these principles around in Oklahoma City too? It's strange that you would ask, because when I told the Oklahoma City Board about the principal transfer issue being one of my most controversial here, they had trouble understanding that, because administrators do not have tenure in Oklahoma City, and they move principals around all the time, and on occasion, cross-level transfers too. I feel like I'm going to have to move my mouse. It's like when you make this run and then you click. $2.00 waiting for you. It covers better than 60% of my property with three feet of water, floods it entirely. And it can't be used for several months after that because it's just too wet. And I am just a small landowner compared to several of the landowners involved in this problem that are losing fences, cattle, horses, and fence problems. This is becoming every year, every year a thing. Every winter afterwards they have to replace fences and go check the damages. And we can't seem to get any help. What would you like to see done? Clean the channel out and change the tax allocations that were being taxed on full year.
text/plain
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69534/file/155945#t=45.42,3019.2
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69534/file/155945/transcript/83807
["English [Transcript]
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69534/file/155945/transcript/83807/annotation/2
https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/083/807/original/trint_Coll427_fv363_transcript.vtt?1757530212
text/vtt
en
https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/083/807/original/trint_Coll427_fv363_transcript.vtt?1757530212
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69534/file/155945/index/51534
["Coll427_FV363 [Index]
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69534/file/155945/index/51534/annotation/3
["Title
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69534/file/155945#t=0.0,3060.104
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69534/file/155945/index/51534/annotation/4
coll427_fv363_01 Suede
coll427_fv363_02 UO Football
coll427_fv363_03 PP & L
coll427_fv363_04 PP & L
coll427_fv363_05 PP & L
coll427_fv363_06 Oakridge Murder Update
coll427_fv363_07 KFMY
coll427_fv363_08 Weinstein
coll427_fv363_09 UO Football
coll427_fv363_10 WX
coll427_fv363_11 KFMY
coll427_fv363_12 Weath-?
coll427_fv363_13 KFMY
coll427_fv363_14 Hep
coll427_fv363_15 Food Prices
coll427_fv363_16 Dog Swipe
coll427_fv363_17 Dog
coll427_fv363_18 Bird
coll427_fv363_19 WX
coll427_fv363_20 Hep Karate
coll427_fv363_21 Apprentice
coll427_fv363_22 Covered Bridges
coll427_fv363_23 Fire
coll427_fv363_24 Apprenticeship
coll427_fv363_25 Teleprompter
coll427_fv363_26 Teleprompter
coll427_fv363_27 Hep
coll427_fv363_28 Food Prices
coll427_fv363_29 Dog Swipe
coll427_fv363_30 Dog Swipe
coll427_fv363_31 Bird
coll427_fv363_32
coll427_fv363_33 Cal Football
coll427_fv363_34 Cal Football
coll427_fv363_35 Little Theatre
coll427_fv363_36 Theatre
coll427_fv363_37 Lefler Jet Boat
coll427_fv363_38 Chess
coll427_fv363_39 Cal Football
coll427_fv363_40 Little Theatre
coll427_fv363_41 Credits
coll427_fv363_42 Water
coll427_fv363_43 Simon
coll427_fv363_44 Cal FB
coll427_fv363_45 Art Auction
coll427_fv363_46 Simon
coll427_fv363_47 H.S.
