I never have been and I never will be. Believe it or not, naive as it sounds, nobody gets anything for it. I guess if I could be accused of anything, I can be accused of making all these funds public, declaring who the contributors were and what I'm spending it for. I think it's kind of a tragedy that I'm getting a tremendous amount of abuse for the fact that I am making it public. We've not done anything that's wrong, either morally or legally wrong. Or left the rock for us. Hey, we in the state of Oregon are going to take a net and a decisive approach. We know all that. We don't want that power. We don't want jobs in Oregon. We don't want you to tell your sad end story. It's not enough. We will know and we do know. We're going to great job. Bob Oswood, you know, but I report up there to a commission of five people who are appointed by the city council and I brought my commission chairman in on this very early on and some of the things that... And I have noted that there are probably 15 or 20 special interest groups who perceive using the facility or perceive the facility contributing to the community in 15 or twenty different ways. And somehow that has to be negotiated and addressed so that everybody gets good use out of it and that it's in balance with touring groups as well. I don't know if you know what you're getting at. Yeah, I've talked to several people, in fact, before I applied, I asked that very question, and I think that's what they understand now, you know, we have to be concerned about the finance in there. Fantastic. That's hard to believe. Okay. What does that say? Now, how are you going to tell them, hey, there's no place to go? It's been fantastic. It's hard believe. We had budgeted in making up our program for the trials, $525,000. And from that we figured that we could give the United States Olympic Committee a minimum of $150,000 back. Right now we have about $585,000 in and we haven't even opened the gates yet. You could possibly have a million dollar gate there. Well the meat could end up being a national championship and the format that we are planning and the one that we're using, of course, is a nine day format and it's the only kind of a meat that you can have 800 to 1000 athletes participating in. You can't shorten the meat, you can't use it as an AU championship and run it in three days nor could you put it in a four day meat. In fairness to our athletes who have qualified and met the Olympic standards, it has to be run in the format that we have set up. Now, Bonnie said, hold on, hold me like that. Good night. And that it may try to destroy the family membership. There would be a conflict in trying to get them to... It's too broad-based to really give the rights that people think that it's going to give. I think because of the wording of it, it's so open for interpretation that we're really not sure what we're going to be getting with it. Boy, they really love those wings, don't they? Yeah, they're really cute. Thank you. The man has always been the provider, so that the woman could be the mother and the nurturer in the home. I see my role as being the mother, and the wife, and nurturer, the heart of our home, where my husband's responsibility is the head of the home and the priesthood bearer. My husband bears the priest hood by the same manner I bear the children, and I see those as complementary roles, and not roles really that compete. There wouldn't be a conflict if she didn't do anything in the way of improperly criticizing authority or trying to undermine what the church is doing. That it was possible that identification would be given. And I feel that it actually doesn't have to be this. I know that Ryan is in that. Mm-hmm. There can be other things. I don't know. The church oppose the Equal Rights Amendment. What are you afraid of? The storage cost for the property. The property's been in storage for a number of years. And then it'll go to the county general fund. But next week I'll be able to tell you about where it's gonna be and the amount of property. To bring you up to date on a few cases that. I always have a great thrill coming back to Eugene, and of course coming back the house kind of tears me apart, but I sort of have to dissociate myself from it, so I look at it now is just a tourist would. To show more of that in order to get more of them. How do you get a good fit? Mm-hmm. 20 years in the penitentiary obviously does not mean 20 years. In Arnold Brown's case, it means one year. I don't know what's happening to our system, but... It's certainly not working. The brief has been filed in the United States Supreme Court optional diversion. We charged him with being a committed felon in possession of a firearm and we alleged that he had been committed to a crime. I don't see any prostitutes or anything like that around here as the city has alleged in the past and I don't see any trouble. Everybody's just having fun. What's this going to do to your business if all of a sudden you don't have this kind of gambling going on? It will cut my business in half. I have two children to raise, 13 and eight. It's not easy. And the parking is wages aren't that much, but it's better than not working. We sat on the right, and everyone else sat on left. Of a young man, maybe he was fairly good, and as well. The people will offer evidence to prove the... For 11 days in life, he was beaten with thick electrical wires. He brought the families of all those officers to the big hill. Red light and murder to try to stay in power and murder of maybe. It is usual in Iran that the fence is carried out 10 days after the birth, and it is considered unusual. So why would we agree to just try to, you know, behave this way? Can you please take your name for the record? This is a letter sent by Nikki, mother of all others. This mock trial of Iran's exiled Shah may be the first, but it's not likely to be the last now with the United Nations Commission on its way to Tehran to investigate the Shah's alleged crimes. At Harris Hall in Eugene, I'm Anne Bradley. That perhaps was one of my most difficult things and I love it dearly because I didn't lose my temper when I was doing this. It's done with a needle and thread, working through the hole. What was the most frustrating part about making the hound? Putting the shingles on. Oh, 3,500 of them. I put that last shingle on, I just, I forget what I had in my hand, but I sure cleared across the room. Is the dollhouse finished? No. I thought it was, but every time I look around there's an empty space. You think it ever will be? I doubt it. When this house was first built, miniatures were hard to come by in the Pacific Northwest. Now that it's become the second most popular hobby in the United States, perhaps this house will become a prototype for future miniature makers. In Eugene, this is Peggy Jo Abraham for Eyewitness News. We feel that we've got an example here where the executive branch is way over into the legislative branch. As Commissioner Craig pointed out, even the news reports now are calling the legislation a Bonneville written bill. Well this isn't the way this legislation is supposed to be written. It's supposed to written by the legislators or their staff, not by the federal administrative body that is going to implement the legislation. The main attractions are the new facilities that are under development in our metropolitan area, the Lane County Fairgrounds Convention Facility, the Performing Arts Complex, the potential of a new stadium on the University of Oregon campus, the new planetarium. We have a phenomenal bank and resource of natural attractions that certainly bring and attract tourists and conventions alike. For future naturalizers. Hey, man, I didn't get to see you. I didn't get to sit down with you. I didn't get to talk to you. I want to thank the President of the United States of America for making me a president. Once more in the tank. We may be faced with a shortage because we're putting out so much more service during the peak hours than we had previously, over you know 10 months ago even. And the Department of Energy has ruled that transit properties will get 100 percent of their base year, that is 1978 fuel supply, but we're put out more service than we were in 1978. We may run into a shortage, I hope not. Get your money now. Let's not do too many dimes, to make a real bit of a fuss. When you get fresh strawberries. These are coming, believe it, all the way from Florida. I started in California, and you know what happened down there. I was just imagining how I'm putting that bottom in there. Yeah. Ha, ha, ha. A messy one. I think it's tender loving care, about as good as I can put it to you right here. Namely, the product itself has to be good. The berry, if it's a berry pie, rhubarb has to come from a certain locality at a certain time to really have a real good rhubar pie. Bye! Well, I don't know, maybe I thought we got something really good. I don't know. Okay, go ahead. Marketing agency that was, that is located outside of, of, we are exporting setup to Washington D.C., our headquarters are in position now. The administrator was asked by one or more congressional committees to provide input. And when Congress calls and you're an administrator of a federal agency, generally your goal. To help us out during the winter and I think that Mr. Sutton is performing the same service that his boss Sterling Monroe has been performing around the Northwest and that is to come and give people a lot of information on the BPA, tell us about their troubles and then about 50. The Centrelia plant, the California entities wanted to draw that in advance. Different people like my art for different reasons. Why do you like your art? I like it because I hope that it's complex, that it is multileveled. I like because it looks like horses. I like that it doesn't look like horses Why horses? The horse started out, I was doing sculpture which was more or less about death and I realized what that was about and decided to do something about life and my mare was pregnant. So I went out to her corral and started just building a horse. And it felt real good because when I was riding my horse I was thinking about my art and when I doing my art I was looking at my horse. On the pie machine, that can become boring, yes. Especially if you're dipping the fruit out. That's, you know, you're there for three, maybe four, four and a half hours of dipping. Well, that's a long time when you have to dip down. For every pie, somebody has to fill that pie. Pie filling's automatic, but. I'm buying a box for a whole house for $20. And this is really cool. I mean, you could literally flip letters and packages under them. If we can prevent having to build just one more big thermal plant, we can save substantially over the increase in rate that would be required. We may have to pay to help each other conserve just like we pay to each other generate. Program is very effective because we do have a target date based on those statistics. Sometimes that must be the case. No, it looks like it will. Discussing what I was eating. We have acquired all of the land that the master plan says we must or should acquire. It does say that we should consider some other areas, and we will do that. However, under federal regulations that are currently written, whenever we acquire land, we pay the fair market value for it, whatever that may be. Ultimately, who is the zoning up to? The zoning authority in the airport vicinity is Lane County. Congress to obtain money on a continuing basis every year. We have to have the money coming in from our power sales and other services we perform. You Go down to the core and fill it up. You understand what you're doing now, right? I just see scenarios and kind of feel better. I like taking it. It's nice. I cannot. Right. You know, for that music round, I had a group thing here this morning. Yeah, I went to work with a kid out here with... It is planned for a timber resource. It's been cut over several times as I understand it, and it's probably 30, 40, 50 years away from maturity for another crop. I can't understand why a road would be appropriate at this time, at least on a scale that has been presented if in fact the major use of that area is going to continue to be timber. When they designed the building, they evidently made a substantial error in showing a service door that's 24 by 14, and yet it effectively is only an entrance door of about 10 feet in width. And I think this door entrance will affect other shows in the future. It will certainly affect the income of the fairgrounds because they charge rent, obviously, for any show that's in here. And obviously, they have just lost a substantial rental portion on one of these buildings here today. We found it out today we were to move in the houses and we had already tore down the showhouse to bring out and put into the show. And so by that time it was too late, we'd sent out the invitation to many of our past customers and possible future customers, inviting them to the show, and it's cost us many thousands of dollars. He did not come to me, I don't know if he came to some of my staff or not, but we've had four events out here since we've opened it and the building's been basically the way it is for the last six, seven months, so it was available to measure. No, I just meant, I saw one of the things somebody else did. What's cool is that you get to have people to go on forever. But even if you move it, it will have to contract. Who is the contact that's going to have to do it? I mean, you have two Americans together. We're saying hi neighbor, hi neighbor. Let us love you more. And that's in an F. It's supposed to be 12, 12 minutes, you know, right? I don't like it that way. I don'y like it. I don't like it the way it is. What do you think? What do I do? What do we do? I think that it's a fraud upon the public. I think the public gets the idea that a judge's sentence means something when it's pronounced and actually in truth and in fact it means nothing at all. The entire amount of imprisonment is controlled almost exclusively by the matrix except in rare cases. Not in the last words, because the legislature are the people that got it. But actually, we set down the basic guidelines, and they want to change ways to sign in for crimes of violence, and extend a period of parole, actual parole, particularly in the young, more serious. I'm already nervous about this. Thank you very much. Yes, the situation. And it says, by exactly two hours, I don't need to get on a bus for 30 days. If you want them to be the other 4,000 miles to the other side of the mountain, I'm sure with my PR value, you know, trend is downward now. American County, Canada, by car, we've noticed that in the last couple years. Is your goal. Mom-and-pop stores like on the old freeways have been doing it for a long time, and I don't think we're any different than they are So this isn't encouraging drinking and driving or anything like that. No, it's not encouraging at all It's just making it easier to pick up, you know the few items you need and get on your way about.
text/plain
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69643/file/156056#t=11.53,3094.26
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69643/file/156056/transcript/86163
["English [Transcript]
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69643/file/156056/transcript/86163/annotation/2
https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/086/163/original/trint_Coll427_fv472_transcript.vtt?1762203595
text/vtt
en
https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/086/163/original/trint_Coll427_fv472_transcript.vtt?1762203595
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69643/file/156056/index/51608
["Coll427_FV472 [Index]
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69643/file/156056/index/51608/annotation/3
["Title
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69643/file/156056#t=0.0,3103.147
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69643/file/156056/index/51608/annotation/4
coll427_fv472_01 Kerans/Atiyeh
coll427_fv472_02 Kerans Atiyeh
coll427_fv472_03 Loggers
coll427_fv472_04 Art Guy
coll427_fv472_05 Cabbage
coll427_fv472_06 OU Trials
coll427_fv472_07 Mormon
coll427_fv472_08 Aspirin
coll427_fv472_09 DA Recap
coll427_fv472_10 Mrs. Morse
coll427_fv472_11 Bear
coll427_fv472_12 Mormon
coll427_fv472_13 D.A.
coll427_fv472_14 CG Gambling
coll427_fv472_15 Shah Trial
coll427_fv472_16 Trial
coll427_fv472_17 WX
coll427_fv472_18 WX
coll427_fv472_19 Commerce
coll427_fv472_20 Eugene Hotel
coll427_fv472_21 Mini-House
coll427_fv472_22 EWEB
coll427_fv472_23 EWEB Bartels/Craig
coll427_fv472_24 Mini-House
coll427_fv472_25 EWEB Recap
coll427_fv472_26 Chamber Commerce
coll427_fv472_27 Mini-House
coll427_fv472_28 Senses
coll427_fv472_29 Senses
coll427_fv472_30 LTD
coll427_fv472_31 Hrses
coll427_fv472_32 Oregon People
coll427_fv472_33 WX
coll427_fv472_34 BPA Guy
coll427_fv472_35 Horses
coll427_fv472_36 Oregon People
coll427_fv472_37 Weatherization
coll427_fv472_38 Airport
coll427_fv472_39 Horses
coll427_fv472_40 WX
coll427_fv472_41 Weatherization Recap
coll427_fv472_42 Oregon People
coll427_fv472_43 LTD Recap
coll427_fv472_44 Barbers
coll427_fv472_45 Murdock
coll427_fv472_46 Beer Gas
coll427_fv472_47 Mobile-Home
coll427_fv472_48 Barbers
coll427_fv472_49 Mobile
coll427_fv472_50 Parole
coll427_fv472_51 Mobile Recap
coll427_fv472_52 Cottage Grove Gambling
coll427_fv472_53 Canucks
coll427_fv472_54 Marist Girls
coll427_fv472_55 Symphony
coll427_fv472_56 Beer Gas
coll427_fv472_57 Sheldon
coll427_fv472_58 Beer Gas
["Synopsis
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69643/file/156056#t=0.0,3103.147"}]}]}]}
