Prune plums, both Italian and Brooks prune, are coming in right. Now Bartlett pears are coming in now. Good prices on all of these. Prices will be coming down. Best news in the fruit department, local apples have just started about a week ago. Red delicious, golden delicious, gravenstein apples. Good quality, prices are high. They'll be dropping as the season continues. But nice, crisp apples. Looking over to the local vegetable market, we're getting some good corn, although it's nearing the end of the season. The corn is still good. Good priced also. Local beets. And then we've got a nice remainder of vegetables, kind of Italian-orientated this week, with local green peppers, eggplant, zucchini, and tomatoes. Now, if you've been shying away from tomatoes because you don't think they taste good. These local ones have a lot of flavor. Prices are pretty reasonable. They will be going up. Finally, we're getting some beautiful local braided garlic. Now, you buy these in the braid. You hang this up in your kitchen.
