They are see that what we stand for and what we have always stood for is akin to their own hopes and dreams of what this country can and accomplish. Is it just a coincidence, but I think our people hunger to feel once again a sense of mission, a pride in their own capacity to perform great deeds, and we as Republicans can do something about this, but not if we try to be all things to all people. No one quarrels with the idea that a political party should always seek to attract a wider following, but not by forsaking its basic beliefs, blurring its image so as to be indistinguishable from the opposing party. As a convert to republicanism myself, I can testify that when I found I could no longer follow the leadership of my party, the Democratic Party, I became a Republican not because the parties were the same. But precisely because there was a difference, has been their policy to indicate Whether he's going to vote. Well, you've got to remember also that I refused to be a, and they didn't want to do a lot of things. I don't think so. I don' see why, first of all, I'm not going to be divisive. I don't think the President's going to be at least he told me he wasn't. There had not been a resignation and an appointment of the president to that office. This would have been an open primary with a half a dozen Republicans contesting the election. And no one was talking then about it being divisive. Didn't want to give back the the surplus and that that would be a very excellent showing. Forty percent of them said before, I'm going to try to win. One more question. I we did such as the wealth ticket.
