Guess where I just got back from. Anyways, I had a great time. Mickey and Minnie had a good time also. And one of the best things about being on the West Coast is the produce. I was just on the East Coast. And the produce there is not nearly as tasty. Maybe it's because the water is warmer down in Florida. We have such nice cold water here in Oregon and in California in the rivers and lakes. But the produce is just spectacular here and just kind of over there. Now you can see Minnie over here, she's enjoying some nice local sweet corn. The corn still is excellent right now coming in. The corn in Florida was pretty tasteless. Green beans, peppers, tomatoes, all coming in locally now. But the real difference in produce was the fruit. I was very disappointed with the eastern fruit. The fruit here on the West Coast, just spectacular. Seedless grapes out of California, still coming in very reasonably priced locally. Still getting some raspberries and blueberries. I couldn't find any of these in Florida. In fact, the Florida strawberries were just tasteless. Anybody from Florida, don't take offense. But the West Coast produce is just so much better. Also locally, end of the peach season, still getting some wonderful ready haven, good eating peaches, nectarines, all kinds of plums right now, Bartlett pears coming in. And with all this good produce, all I can say is it sure is great to be back in Oregon. Well, now it's time to say goodbye. Bye.
