The Flying Karamazovs have some supporting roles, as does the guy known as Abner the Eccentric. Jewel of the Nile is a fun movie. I think it lives up to the action of Romancing the Stone. It's rated PG and playing at both Cinema World and the Springfield Cinemas. And finally, two other movies out, both fairly forgettable. Enemy Mine stars Dennis Quaid and Lou Gossett Jr. As fighter pilots from opposing star systems, shipwrecked on a foreign planet. The story is mediocre and dry, and Gossett, one of my favorite actors, is terribly hampered by his alien makeup. He and Quaid should have traded roles. The result would have been much better. It's playing at West 11th, rated PG 13. And still in the theaters, White Knights, starring Mikhail Varishnikov and Gregory Hines.
