We found a typical teenager gets most of his or her money from part-time work, and more are working than ever before. Years ago, it was common for teens to work in the summer and concentrate on school the rest of the year. Some work as many as 30 or 40 hours. This phenomenon has produced a growing consumers group. And businesses know they're there, and they want their attention.
