But it'd be tough to find a steelhead this weekend. The project that I got picked for this weekend is building a rod. I'm working on a graphite drift rod. It's not a real difficult thing to build a rod, you got to have a little bit of dexterity. There's some real good books available that'll tell you exactly how to do it. The components are not too expensive. The first rod that you build will be the most expensive one and then after that you can build them for just about what you can buy them for. But the reason I build rods for is you can wind up with a lot of different things that you couldn't have if you didn't build rods. Like a four and a half foot ultra light spinning rod. There's not very many of those around. Another thing is one of the projects that I'm to be working on here in a few days is a seven and a half foot drift rod from lemma glass that has a real stiff butt so you can break a salmon's neck but it has a really light tip so you could drift eggs. So if you're looking for something to do on these weekends when you can't get to the fish you might try tying a rod. Some of the most damning testimony in her trial came from White's foster child, who said he saw her with the stolen money. This week, Charles Porter filed paper saying the young man had lied on the witness stand and was willing to repudiate his testimony. Porter says federal prosecutors and marshals influenced the boy's story.
text/plain
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/70499/file/156445#t=2061.239,2087.719
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/70499/file/156445/transcript/86473/annotation/98
Speaker 38: Told him Laurie was out to get him. And I dropped the gun with a telephone like that and I backed back through the door and the gun was pointed straight at my stomach and my first reflex was just to get the gun so it wasn't pointed at me. So I grabbed a hold of the barrel of the gun and I went like that, and reached in the air so I could have control and Then I grabbed a hold of his pants, his belt, and I grabbed hold of him, and I was yelling at him that to go ahead and shoot, go ahead and shoot the gun, my neighbors will hear you, somebody will hear upstairs, go head and shoot it. And he got really upset, and he started yelling back at me, let go of the gun lady, I'll leave, just let go, let me go, let go the gun. Let me go. I'll live, I leave. This week, the United States Immigration Service served notice upon the celebrated guru of eastern Oregon that he must leave this country. Immigration officers say the baguan Sri Rajneesh lied on his visa application about needing medical care here about planning to stay only temporarily.
