Got this ringing in my ear as I went to my first rock concert in about 10 years. I had a good time though, and I can still talk even though I can't hear. I'm going to tell you that this week is a very good week for vegetables and a so-so week for fruit. In fact, let's talk about vegetables. California is really starting to come on. People say, how do you pick a good zucchini? Well, if the zucchini coming out of California right now, you pick it up and you'll see it's got little hairs on it. If your zucchini's got little hairs, that means it's nice and fresh and it's good. Other good things out of California. Great week for a salad. Lettuce of all kinds, spinach, 39 to 59 cents a bunch. Toss yourself an ice green salad. Carrots are a little high, but they're very good quality right now, 49 cents a pound. Also, cucumbers now, they were coming out of Mexico, as were all the other vegetables. They're out of California now, also. Very, very good quality, a little bit high price, 49 to 59 cents a piece. Some best values this week from California. Again, those artichokes and asparagus, they keep prices keep coming down, and the quality just keeps getting better and better. Now a couple things to look out for. Tomatoes. Tomatoes are still coming out of Mexico. They're going to switch into flirted tomatoes really soon. Quality is going to go down. Prices are going to go up. Look for tomatoes to go over a dollar a pound and cherry tomatoes to go well over a dollar a basket. Yellow onions and onions of all kinds. Now onions are in short supply. They were coming out of Texas, right? That's where they're coming right now. And they're 59 to 79 cents a pound, which is a lot of money for an onion, will be in the California onions next month. Cauliflower out of California, one crop that isn't doing well right now, it's running about a dollar a pound or so. And potatoes, where it seem to be in real short supply, particularly on baking potatoes, look to pay about fifty-nine cents a pound for bakers. But all in all, produce is very, very good this week, particularly the vegetables. Watch out, Friday the thirteenth, have a good day. Fry witness news, I'm Terry Potassium. What did you say?","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/70721/file/156669#t=2432.48,2544.66"}]},{"id":"https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/70721/file/156669/transcript/87570","type":"AnnotationPage","label":{"en":["English [Transcript]"]},"items":[{"id":"https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/70721/file/156669/transcript/87570/annotation/121","type":"Annotation","motivation":"subtitling","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/087/570/original/trint_Coll427_0572_transcript.vtt?1765473534","format":"text/vtt","language":"en"},"target":"https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/087/570/original/trint_Coll427_0572_transcript.vtt?1765473534"}]}]}]}
