Then if you reach the threshold amount, quarter of a million dollars for presidential and lesser for Senate and House, then if you reached that lesser amount, then at least you demonstrated you're a credible candidate and you'll be matched by funds. The Democrats tend to want far more in public funds. City owns two bicycles that we use going around town to take care of business rather than a vehicle and have set up a number of bicycle racks around City Hall so that they are convenient to workstations and convenient for the public using them coming to and from City Hall. We've also on our employee parking rate structure set the rates lower for those carpool to try and encourage that to occur. The board also gave the green light to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee to begin finding new sites to build the Solid Waste Recovery Plant. The committee has till October or November to complete that study. The final recommendation was to withdraw the existing resolution directing the county to acquire the heirs property.
