The main symptoms would be things like vaginal dryness, vaginal irritation, weight changes, mood changes, and abnormal bleeding but probably most importantly would be a thing called hot flashes, which some people call hot flushes. And that's when a woman would experience tremendous vasodilatation, when her blood vessels would open up all over her body. She would get red, sweaty, and most of the time this happens at night so it can wake her up from sleep. And then she may experience a chill from all the extra sweating and the extra vasodilation that she does. There's a lot of temperature irregularities so she may feel hot when everybody's cold or cold when everybody is hot. And the changes that a woman experiences when she goes through the menopause directly affect the quality of her life.
