Those include a series of robbers at area pizza parlors, supermarkets, and even a local Taco Bell. All the robberries occurred during the last two years, with the majority during 1982. In many, the criminals wore ski masks, carried guns, and threatened to kill their victims. Among the robberies cleared by this investigation was one at the Shadow Hills Country Club near Junction City last March. In that case, the robbers held a shotgun to the bartender's head and threatened to kill him. But now the sheriff is sure they've cracked the loose-knit gang behind those crimes. Four men have been arrested, including 18-year-old George Roy Jackson of Junction City. Jackson pled guilty this week in Lane County Circuit Court to three counts of robbery and is now awaiting sentence. The detectives are predicting three more arrests, including one man who fled the state. Two juveniles are also involved. All you got to do is find a spot. That's no exception this weekend, probably. I could go out and find a place to catch a couple of fish, I am sure. But what you might do to improve your fishing a little better is come to the Lane County Fairground to the Eugene Boat and Sport Show. We have experts here from all over the country to give you all kinds of fishing tackle tips. If you come down here and get a tip from one of these experts, it very well might improve one of those trips that you go on here in the near future. Top by and see what you can learn. I'm going to be here all weekend if you want to ask me a question about one of the tips I've given you on TV in the last little while. I'll be here and answer all the questions I can.
