And it was, it was we were, we got caught in storms which we anticipated and at the same time we, we were prepared for them. That's always a problem there, the storms turn back many parties and we were unfortunate have to be at the top where we could climb. To the summit at a period of time when the storms came in and our food got low, we decided to come back down before we ran out of food or before we started to encounter frost bite and other problems. It's really a pretty popular route, and it was discouraging to see it there. We saw a lot more at 17,000 feet and periodic caches in between. And I was personally very, very discouraged by it. It's a mess. I wouldn't climb that route again because of the garbage. But we tried, then we knew that there was a lot there that if we could spend we could carry some of it down and we picked up what we could and burned it, and then also carried down what we could without making a very, very difficult re-ascent and back down again. We are suggesting that no activity in the mall area should be of a permanent or a continuous or repetitive nature or for extended periods of time. In other words, that permits not be granted to one kind of activity to just continue in one place forever, doing business or displaying or whatever it may be, or time after time on a regular basis. That no activities will be in conflict with the existing reserved and scheduled events. In other words, on scheduling, first come, first serve as best we can, and that activities will not be permitted to come in and conflict. That there will be no sales gimmick type of operation, such as drawings, free prizes, solicitation, things of that nature. You already know that riding a bicycle has been discontinued, at least in the rules. This will officially adopt that. And I think the bicycle thing is under pretty good control, from what I can tell. We're hoping to protect the landscaped areas, the shrubs and flowers, by restricting the sitting and lying and walking in the planted areas, recognizing that the grass areas probably are suitable for sitting and laying when they're not in the crocus blooming period. That the water features probably should be used as little as possible for anything other than observation. That probably it's not practical to say that people cannot sit and dip their feet in the water. But we hope not to have them used for bathing, washing, and domestic laundry purposes. One of the major problems I think that is going to be hard to police is the... We are proposing, and I don't know that it'll be accepted by the council, that there be no dogs permitted in the mall, or domestic animals, is the way we put it. But I think dogs are the problem. And this is more restrictive than in other areas in the community, as now dogs are permitted on a leash. And we realize there are still some running at large, although that has been reduced a great deal. But there simply is no accommodation for dogs to take care of their natural problems in the Mall area. And after having listened to the stories of the cleanup crew day after day of the kinds of problems they're running into, we feel that the dog problem is simply one that the mall was not designed to accommodate and that if it's possible, dogs should be prohibited from being in the mall area. I get the feeling sometimes that somebody sees something that offends them. And he calls up the merchant next door, and he said, did you just see what I just saw? And then that fellow talks to it about the next customer in the walk-in. He said, do you see what somebody said just happened out here? And pretty soon, it's gone all the way around the loop. And it's five times as bad as it was if it did happen in the first place. And everybody is griping about it. And that type of an attitude, I think. Can kill this thing faster than anything you do can correct it. And I just think it's a word of caution. That kind of a thing is happening. And I think it is happening because nobody really has paid much attention to it. I think its easy to correct. And it would be my suggestion that there be some conscientious effort to sell this mall rather than to point up its problems.
