I think mainly our goals are centered around just working as hard as we can work and trying to get as good a players as we can and you know just play from year to year and game to game and do the best that we can possibly do and we've been fortunate that we have won quite a few ball games maybe quicker than most people would have expected under the circumstances. I like the bulls, they give me something to do, and it involves with my work, so then all of my friends that I work with, they do it too, so I like being around them. Bill that's an initiative for the organization supports congressional efforts to revise which we do. States right is one thing that actually helped defeat this bill in the last Congress. I have an 1842. They're all in this bill. This bill is an omnibus reform bill. S, we can read S one. If you come before a given judge, there's a money bag. Well, there was even an insurrection in Daniel Shays, we've got it in central Massachusetts, that really threw the fear of God into the Boston merchants. The US merchant marine, I mean, the merchant shipping around the world was the prey of part of the 1780s on the initiative of the wealthy and privileged groups in the United States, mostly the slave owners and. Opponents say that one of the bill's main faults is it tries to revise the criminal codes as a whole instead of piece by piece. And they say that this shotgun approach neglects the great care necessary in drafting laws that affect... Our basic rights. At Harris Hall, this is Lisa Stark for Eyewitness News. When they arrive and their communist protocols and other things. They are arriving by the thousands every day, on busses and cylinders, most on housing beds. The medical staff is reported to be more than adequate to handle the current number of cases. Nutritional standards are high, all people getting lots of bananas, oranges, fish, but not everywhere. But the Camaro women wear powerful clothes, as opposed to the black uniforms of the Camaros. In the evening, when smoke rises to the thousand campfires here, the camp has almost a tranquil feeling, but the fires these people have to travel to get this far. Well, I'd like to, but we had a contact issue. I was talking to Dick about this when he picked me up before I even get started on this whole situation. I want to make it very clear that I personally am not thinking about a suit at all. Here he is. I walked in on it. The medical staff is reporting to be more than adequate to handle the current number of cases. Nutritional standards are high. How are people getting lots of bananas, oranges, fish, vegetables, and rice? Children fly their flights everywhere. And the Camaro women wear colorful clothes as opposed to the black uniforms of their Camaro rules owners. You got your hair on. You've cleaned it up since. We have to leave the sea off and all that. We spend like 50% of the time up there on public services. Anyone that has anything that they'd like us to talk about that's a nonprofit organization will certainly do it for them. I think about this when he picked me up before I even get started on this whole situation. I want to make very clear that because of that situation, the artist did not have control of what slides they submitted to be shown to the jury. Had an artist been able to prioritize their slides, they would have had control of what slides out of the ten that were sent in would have been shown to the jury The gallery in San Francisco suggested that they select four slides things like hand-made doorknobs, all four people in a response pedal size with a sculpture of two-dimensional objects would be a problem. The same kind of actions had taken place, like in a lumber bidding contract or something like that, that they would immediately have some problems with maybe a possible suit or something. Mainly because there's money involved and that the changes of procedures do change the whole game. And in this case, I think it did change it significantly for some. Say, changing the rules midway through. I don't think, one, that the rules would change midway though. And I think that the thoroughness of the jurors in looking at everything very intensely. That I don't think, I can't imagine that different decisions would have been made. Artists who submitted. Work. Yeah. Good luck with your nose so bright, won't you ride my sleigh tonight. Don't join in any reindeer games, go away. He knows that you've been bad, or the red-nosed reindeer. He'll go down in history. Heaven and nature sing. I am. 18Th of December. That's one week before Christmas. I can't place anything right at the moment. Have you heard of Unity Day? Unity Day? Uh, no, I don't believe I've heard anything about it. I'd just like to ask you if you know what day this is today? Yeah, it's the day we're flying our flags for the veterans. I mean, the fugitives. Ha, ha, ha. Isn't that right? Unity Day, right. Yeah, Unity Day. I didn't know what they called it, but that's what it is. I hope they get home for Christmas. Ha,ha, ha! Norma had graduated from South Allegheny High School in 72, went on to Penn State and got her biology degree. And after graduation, she decided to take a few weeks off alone for camping in California. I had a backpack on and they look for people with backpacks that look pretty transient. They told me, oh there's a group of people that are into community action or something like that and they have this organic form up in the country and I thought, oh these are just my kind of people and they looked real clean cut and they were the nicest people. You'd never, I'd think that cult member would be like hippie kind of person, but they looked really nice though. I said, heck yeah, I'll go to your farm. They said they had these food distribution programs and they were going to be able to school. And everything they did was geared towards helping other people. So I thought, if I do what they say, then I'm helping someone. And during that time, my husband was ill and died and we called over and over again days at a time and they would make you wait maybe a half an hour they would say we can't find her meanwhile we knew the camp because my son had been there and he went to visit trying to see Norma and they had bodily removed him from the camp so that I was determined to find her rescuer in some way, and I had heard that people had done it. So I'm just going to do it. I was selling flowers in the shopping center and I was walking up the street and there was this guy there so I went up to sell him some flowers. Next thing you know I was being put into a car right in rush hour traffic on a four lane highway. Did you call for help? Oh yeah. I was scared. Well I didn't know who they were at first. I thought that they were going to murder me or something. I didn't know who the were. But then when I figured that they were the programmers, then I was really scared. We followed the Vans until we found a time when they dropped her off alone. And that's when we took her and put her in a car. So while FBI, Oregon sheriffs and local police had lookouts set up, Mrs. Johnson, Norma and the higher D programmers fled the state. Later notified authorities of what happened and no charges were filed, a now standard procedure in family kidnappings involving the cults. Then the deprogramming. Officially, it took me about five weeks until I got, I went to a rehab center, which is just a ranch and there's a bunch of people, other ex-cult members. It's no big deal. It's kind of a transitional period. Do you think that you ever infringed on your daughter's First Amendment rights and her rights as an individual? No, in no way. I know her too well. She was an independent young woman, and I know she had no intentions of ever joining that group. Norma now lives a fairly normal life, far away from the Pittsburgh area, has a good job and new friends, and a new life...almost. I have blocked a lot of it out, but I really don't want to forget it because this is a serious thing and people don't realize what's going on, especially young people who are very idealistic, looking for something to meet these really nice people. People don't know what's goin' on and I don't wanna forget it, because I wanna be able to at least tell people what's goin' on. In our society, we're kind of used to just the easy way, which is just flip the switch up two notches, and the furnace comes on, and it gets comfortable again, and you forget about it. And I think that's what we're trying to stop in our energy reduction program. This gives you quite a bit of protection for the legs. Of gasoline. Do you see that? But now you see a dramatic change and some You have to hold the rate of growth of spending below the rate of inflation. I've been using a figure of 6.8%. Second, you've got to cut through the excesses of regulation that are killing off investment and capital formation and risk-taking. And thirdly, you need a tax cut. But it can't be a popular, across-the-board tax cut, it has to be a supply side, an investment tax cut that there are certain programs that clearly actively selected, not stacked on pro or anti. They made some real serious suggestions. I think we should implement those changes suggested by that commission and then carefully and prudently go forward. A few chosen words might help. Harthorn has the ball. Even the meats here coming up with or tonight's meat with Minnesota They should just get paid less because they don't change it. We've combined spelling and handwriting today. Some of you have covered, just like when we paid the official salaries, they get $200,000. OK. It's never a change of papers or they're never one of the desks. Okay. Yeah, that's what you're doing. Because I wasn't the one who threw that down the floor and I couldn't help if it was there. Apparently your classmates didn't feel that way they voted against you. How do you feel? Mmm, it's okay You think it's got to work that way? Yeah. You going to support the system this way? I don't know Moving the piece, moving it in. Thank you. I mean they're only paying five dollars and that isn't very much so I thought they paid more they wouldn't have as many tickets Do you think that they're going to enjoy getting a $25 ticket? Well not really now. I think they'll cut the tickets down and they won't have as many and they can save their money for other things. Once you've said your piece, you don't have to say it more than once as long as we're all in it. And I really am proud of the way that they've conducted themselves. We've had a little bit of police brutality, but other than that, it's just been super, and it makes our whole classroom run more smoothly. $20. Members of the Tri-Agency Animal Authority might take a lesson from this debate over animal welfare. The issues aren't much the same, but this group managed to solve their problems in about a half an hour. Tri-Agency has been debating over a year. Peter Murphy, Iowa Just News, in Graysville. Are you confident? No one else on that staff. At any knowledge of any of the requirements of the progress rule, would have to do that work. I thought at the end of my conversation that he had resigned and that it was final and that at least implicit in our conversation was my acceptance of his resignation. I did not even know if it would ever be put in writing. Since it was put in writing, but left unsigned, I have not had an opportunity to talk with him and have had no reason to change my understanding of his status. Records be more closely scrutinized than say non-student apples. Yes, I think it was primarily a matter of loyalty to Becker, although also involved in it, according to Rich's own statement, is the fact that as head football coach, he felt responsible for what had happened, no matter who had actually done the deeds that got us in trouble. Either in terms of academic reputation or more specifically in terms of football recruiting us. No, I have no way to gage the possible damage from it. In the long run, I feel confident that we will turn it to our advantage, because it will cause us to construct a system of checks and double checks, which will guard against the possibility of the university standards being subverted. Well we will be using these to get people to begin to be interested in conservation to come and take a look and see if there are some things that they can do about conservation in their own household. For a clear day, do we know? It wasn't, well it had to have been a clear number. Well, you know, there's a lot of opportunities, for instance, we do do that. I don't know. Can chip inside her head, get switched to overload. I don't like Mondays, I wanna shoo-oo-o-o The whole day down I don't like Mondays, I wanna shoot The whole day down, down And now the plane's stopped in the playground, and she wants to play with the toy-go-round. And school's out early, and soon we'll be learning, and the lesson today is how to die! And then the bull-hole crackles, and then Captain tackles with the troubles of my mom's and wife's. And he can see no reasons, cause there are no reasons. What reason do you need to die? Oh, tell me why All day It's different, eh? It sure is. There you go. Not terrible. Not terrible, but I see where it's at, huh? I don't know if somebody's calling me or somebody's calling me. I love the background. Do you mean a fly? Fly. Fly. Good. Good. There you go. Say something about that. He's in her time. What do I want for Christmas? Oh, that's a wonderful question. I would like about three weeks off, which I'm not gonna get. I want good health for George Meany and a whole lot of new people coming into the labor movement. Anything else? No, that's fine. It's just fine. Increase per capita. More people come into the labor movement with more per capita tax we have. Possibly a union voted in up at KVAL. Well, I'm a lucky lady, so I really don't want anything for myself, but what I'd really like would be to have the 50 hostages come back from Iran and that mess resolved. I suggest this stuff come up, right? But assuming you properly prefer the proposed plan to the city procedure, our summary plan action can be validated with the first summary plan. But assuming he properly preferred the proposed plan in 1676. Isn't it correct that we just had an informal process? There's a shared jurisdictional boundary. Simply by that unilateral action, we're going to be under definitive opinion, but assuming we properly preferred the proposed plans in the city.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/70180/file/156123#t=284.48,2852.4"}]},{"id":"https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/70180/file/156123/transcript/86233","type":"AnnotationPage","label":{"en":["English [Transcript]"]},"items":[{"id":"https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/70180/file/156123/transcript/86233/annotation/2","type":"Annotation","motivation":"subtitling","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/086/233/original/trint_Coll427_0014_transcript.vtt?1762204274","format":"text/vtt","language":"en"},"target":"https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/086/233/original/trint_Coll427_0014_transcript.vtt?1762204274"}]}]}]}
