Not every day is as gorgeous as this one. Sometimes there are clouds above the fog line. But chances are good it's relatively clear and dry. Either way, it's worth the hike or the ride. All sorts of trails lead you to the top of Mount Pisgah. It's a mile and a half to two miles each way. Or you can take the route to the top of South Eugene's Spencer Butte. Wear a jacket to keep you warm while you're walking through the fog. Some sunglasses or a hat to shade your eyes once you're above the clouds.
