Since the first of the year, she's raised more than $57,000, a sizable amount coming from personal loans. According to her campaign manager, Hendricksen's original budget of $100,000 has now been reduced by $10,000 or $20,000. Savings will come through reductions in direct mail, not using any billboards, and scrapping plans for a second poll. Bill Bradbury has already raised his original budget of $50,000 with 10% of it coming from loans. With fundraising going well, it's expected he'll spend as much as $10,000 more than planned. Peter DeFazio's fundraising is right on schedule. He's well on his way to meeting his $50 thousand budget again with the help of personal loans. Fundraising on the Republican side since the first of the year hasn't been quite large, but the numbers are still sizable. Bruce Long has raised more than $37,000 with the help of a loan and a recent $5,000 contribution from the Right to Life PAC. And Mary Burroughs is close behind, again raising more than 37,000 dollars. But almost half of hers has come from personal loans. All told, more than 222,000 has been raised in this campaign, making it the most expensive Fourth District primary on record.
