It probably will reduce unemployment by taking younger people off the labor market and therefore it will paint a lot better picture for him in the election but I don't believe that we need all those people in the armed forces at this time. I don't want to go away and fight. I'm happy now. Very comfortable with the macho role and he was trying to lay out some warning without the specifics being there and I'm interested in he talked about re-instituting the registration for the draft and I am wondering if that does that include the women as well as the men? He seems to be on top of things and it makes me feel confident that he's on top of things. Well, I didn't watch it because my government tells me not to watch any politics, sign anything, or anything like that. It's kind of scary. Why? Mostly about the draft, I guess, and just in my lifetime, besides Vietnam War, I haven't really come in contact with it. It's more realistic now. I don't want to be in a position of either I think it's been quite well identified in the report. About four hearings a week and land use plans by the week. Now, if you're so interested in consensus, why haven't we consented all along? We haven't. I'm clearly interested in your cold heart. I do not recognize Senate Bill 100. That's not what our former government did. A lot of that will be the only option that includes the halftime health officer, the full-time health officer. We talked about it when we started with clinical services, medical leadership, and the administrative. Oh, it's not quiet, this is the right thing to do, okay? Thank you. Of our luck is that if you recall when we first started, that's the subject. I knew we had the possibility of higher. I'll go along with the recommendation, hope I never have to say that I wish I had not. Your attendance on the research is available. The health officer would have... Yes, I'm leaning on the actual piece of the argument at this point. In both options, obviously, the range is some $24,000. Dr. White has indicated that... We're an endangered species, but this allowed it to continue, and the only help we've really been getting, or the major amount of help, is the people in the press have tried whenever we've talked to them to relay our message, and if there's any questions. We're behind Korea, Russia, and Japan. For what we're doing. And I look at him and I say, well, how can I encounter... We don't have a chance to make it unless we change a law. And that's exactly what we're going to do. We're going change the law. Care possibly. Um, we're just trying to look at the camera. We've seen more extensive developments are to occur. Yeah, we practiced in Springfield Island for 30 years. We are here to meet with the council for their request to account the worst things that have been done and that is the matter. However, I feel that it should not be... What was that for? One is considered a journey. I believe I wrote a negative book. Yes. There were two novels considered a... It makes me feel extremely frightened, terrorized, angered, embittered. We've been telling people for a year and a half this was coming. It's here. It's now under the guise of a Russian invasion. We've said for a years and a a half that it's for oil. Now we're starting to make concessions to Iran in the hopes that we could go in there and stop this from happening. It's coming. Good luck. My progressive policy for which until recently Lane County was known. As far as the Mitchell Plan is concerned, that a moratorium if imposed will hurt the innocent as well as the guilty. But if Lane County, like over here says, and I'm going to have to say and I'm not going to listen to any directions from West of Arson, whom I call Little Peter now. Well, we have lavender and white forms of bloom. Now, in the picture, we assume that we have both. We'll go back to Tokyo. We first started up, started shooting some arms in the 30s. Ended on five years ago. And then so far as we know, all four of those plants that they painted at the Batten Valley are alive. They were when they went on to be painted, right? We've never seen them in there. We've included a microwave oven, food blender. We lowered the floor 8 inches so we have adequate headroom. And then we put in color television, automatic transmission with retarder, built-in vacuum system. The basement even includes a washer and dryer. And the deck that you see on the exterior will fold up and go into the baggage compartment. It takes about 10 minutes to hold it up and put it inside or to bring it out. So in the evening we can set it up, and enjoy the patio. What do you say to people that see you cruising down the road and accuse you of being a gas hog? How can you justify this? I just tell them I'm on my way to California for food stamps. It might not look like I'm camping, but I'm told this is the latest in recreational vehicles. And I figure if we're heading toward a recession, I might as well be riding in style. In Eugene, this is Peggy Jo Abraham for Eyewitness News. If you're between the ages of 18 and 26, you're going to be eligible for the draft registration. But we won't know anything specific until February the 9th or shortly thereafter. The Department of Defense recommendations are asking that there be almost no exemptions in the person. Here's the national winner of being a father that just... We get to a peace church that is historically a peace church. I went to church when I was young, I wasn't, I'm sure I was in. The popular impression is that all I have to do is go to Canada. All I have do is mouth some platitude that I don't believe in war or I don't like killing and my bases are covered. That's clearly not the case and neither one of those options are realistic. Writing letters to congressional representatives or to the editors of newspapers. Forming discussions as sorts of history. That the person could draw upon evidence. Evidence of how those convictions have become manifest in lifestyle. I will change. I'm mostly interested to see what he's going to say about registering women. Whether he will, I don't see how he cannot. I don't like it at all. I'm not looking for another Vietnam. If the draft were imposed and you were asked to go to war in that area, would you go? In most cases, yes. And the best defense is a strong offense. We're urging people to call the White House opinion desk, and we're there. So we've got to participate in your marches and a couple of things. Not an organization of your party, but when it's needed. So what we want to do is develop a history of that kind of information, the kinds of activities we've been involved in, so we can say... And confirm that these concepts are in use in this issue. Veteran? No. Would you go with Drafton? I don't think so. Not at all. Can you please start explaining why you're here on Thursday? I think that the economic situation adds to the stress that we all live with and some of us have learned how to deal with stress in our lives in ways which are not destructive to other people. Unfortunately, some people have not learned other ways and so their reactions to stress either at their job or in the family, whatever, is to strike out. This one seems to break, so I'm going to have to fix it. We're going to move on to the next one. I'm not stating it right now. But, um, operation on that. We recommend that you stand at a specific time so you're not going to close your eyes because you're going to be able to see what I'm trying to say. I think this is going to have to do with it. Governor's conference on CEDA. I sought out Mr. Eisenstadt who was addressing the conference and talk. And you can see that there was a lot of careful consideration. And I think the Tribal Council, when it's... I advocate that you should connect... A lot of tribes have the natural resources available for development, but they don't have the money even to take the first step. I would say a big majority of the tribes could almost be economically self-sufficient, but they just don't the seed money to get started, and that's the sad, sad thing. For example, parts per trillion can cause spontaneous miscarriages in laboratory animals, primates. And I would say on that basis that we don't have to wait until we're 99% sure that we're having problems. I think if there's even a 50% chance, we ought to stop the stuff now. Commissioner rest. I understand you have a letter here from Stuart Eisenstadt. What's the status on this you you approached him? What a year ago on this yes Thirdly, I'd like to remind you that there are already land-based and part of the DS and fourthly, I don't want to challenge his assumption, but he's set forth agents through the war and against each other, his own agents. And that means the United States want to be interested in animals. And with the animals, as is said, the various currently in the United States are being done. Where is it? Studies that have already been done, thousands of studies have been done. Animal studies correlate and reveal that there is clear danger in the McNulty 43. Uh-huh. Yeah. The head of the plant. North Dakota, a little bit of Wyoming, and all of this area of Montana, east of the Rocky Mountains. I've had on my clothes and really all over me and my wife and the kids have been exposed to it and we've never had, shown any effect myself, I've never become ill from it. It would probably change our way of farming drastically. In fact, certain crops I just doubt whether I could continue to farm with it. Might you be out of business? That's where I think interventionary forces Are there no alternatives if we ban this? No good alternatives. The only alternative would be that much of the world would have a lot less to eat. Now to quickly clean it. And go ahead. Very well composed. All right. And uh, you got any other questions? There's a lot of questions. The things you talked in the other day, I mean, how far have you come to get down, you know, identified? Do you have any questions? All right. Great Okay, go ahead. Particularly for elderly people, and if they have problems already with diabetes or other system disease, they certainly should contact their doctors. It's hard not to be impatient, especially when we see what's happened this week, like talk about reviving the draft. You know, we wouldn't care about that oil if we were self-sufficient ourselves. And since alcohol fuels do give us the opportunity to become self- sufficient, I'd like for us to be a little bit more energetic in our pursuits of that source of fuel. I'll do it. That really sent shudders up and down my spine, because the beautiful thing about alcohol fuels is that we can make them here with what we've got here. And I don't think we need to call in the people who've gotten us into this fuel mess in the first place. You trapped the lens, George! Take it fast. You We had about $110,000 worth of merchandise, and it's all gone, I'm sure it is. What are you going to do now? I haven't yet thought of the idea, we'll find that out, I guess, when we stop and think about it a while. The heaters are being overheated by either carelessness or lack of knowledge about the heaters. Some of the heators have not got complete off switches on them and therefore when it gets very cold it brings the heater on. Other heaters people set material in front of like a basket of clothes or something to this effect. Our major problem times are the peak hours of 6 to 10 o'clock in the morning and around 4 to 8 o' clock in the evening. Now, during those times, we hope that people avoid using hot water if possible. Thank you. We had problems before, but not flooding problems that affected so much of a building and so many records and that type of thing. Yeah. One of the criteria that the committee applied to our study was a careful analysis of a sixth period day versus a seventh period day. And we are convinced that we can deliver the required district curriculum in a very efficient and effective way in a sixth-period day. I really appreciate it and I remember seeing you.
text/plain
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051#t=3.79,2562.77
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/transcript/86165
["English [Transcript]
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/transcript/86165/annotation/2
https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/086/165/original/trint_Coll427_fv467_transcript.vtt?1762203595
text/vtt
en
https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/086/165/original/trint_Coll427_fv467_transcript.vtt?1762203595
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/index/51366
["Coll427_FV467 [Index]
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/index/51366/annotation/3
["Title
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051#t=549.0,1163.0
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/index/51366/annotation/4
["Title
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051#t=1164.0,1251.0
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/index/51366/annotation/5
["Title
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051#t=1252.0,2644.689
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/index/51366/annotation/6
["Synopsis
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051#t=1252.0,2644.689
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/index/51366/annotation/7
["Keywords
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051#t=1252.0,2644.689
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/index/51366/annotation/8
["Title
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051#t=0.0,2644.689
https://uoregon.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1635/collection_resources/69638/file/156051/index/51366/annotation/9
coll427_fv467_01 Carter Speech Reaction
coll427_fv467_02 LCDC Letter
coll427_fv467_03 Co.
