Latino Roots in Oregon is a project to research, document, and present Latino immigrant experiences in Oregon. The collection includes approximately 100 short documentary videos on Latino and Latin American immigration and settlement in Oregon. These were produced by University of Oregon students in courses taught by Lynn Stephen, Gabriela Martínez, and Sonia De La Cruz. The documentaries present the experiences of Latino immigrants and settlers, who provided interviews to students and contributed personal photographs and other documents of their experiences. Collection materials are in digital file formats and include the documentary films, oral history interview transcripts, and personal photographs and other documents. Included in this digital collections are the documentary films from Latino Roots in Oregon.
